Summary

The Cook prepares and cooks food under the direction of the Executive Chef for the store’s culinary operations. The role ensures adherence to food handling and health and safety regulations while supporting efficient client service and inventory control. The Cook maintains clean prep and storage areas and assists with ordering and stock rotation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to the Executive Chef’s direction
• Follow all food handling, health and safety and sanitation regulations
• Control food waste and ensure proper rotation of perishable stocks
• Maintain clean, tidy and safe prep and storage areas
• Keep records of quantities used and assist with food and supplies ordering

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Culinary school graduate
• 3-5 years previous experience working in a team environment
