Summary

The Cook prepares and cooks food under the guidance of the Executive Chef for the store's food operations. The role focuses on meal preparation, maintaining clean and safe prep and storage areas, and following food handling and safety regulations. The Cook works within a team to control food waste, assist with inventory and ordering, and deliver timely client service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all meals according to the Executive Chef’s direction
• Follow food handling, health and safety, and sanitation regulations
• Control food waste and ensure proper rotation of perishable stocks
• Maintain prep and storage areas in a clean, tidy, and safe manner
• Keep records of quantities used and assist with food and supplies ordering
• Work swiftly and safely to deliver quick client service

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Culinary school graduate
• 3-5 years previous experience, excelling in a team environment
