Retail Support Associate - Yorkdale

Summary

The Retail Support Associate supports the store team in day-to-day operational duties to increase store productivity and performance. The role includes managing shipments, inventory tasks, basic luggage repairs, and assisting the sales floor and client advisors as needed. This position ensures stock areas and sales points are accurate, organized, and fully operational.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Store Manager and ensure assigned duties are completed accurately.
• Monitor shipments, perform box counts, validate bills of lading and report discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end inventory counts and general stock recovery and product placement on the selling floor.
• Prepare shipping paperwork, complete transfer and receiving forms, and perform deliveries as requested.
• Maintain neat, clean and orderly stock areas and ensure cash wraps are stocked with operational supplies.
• Perform basic luggage repairs using small hand tools and track placement of all paid goods.
• Support client advisors and use the R-client tool to communicate with clients about repairs or product proposals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.
• Availability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 25 lbs repeatedly and use small hand tools for basic repairs.
