General Manager

As a General Manager at Ralph Lauren in Newport Beach, you will act as the CEO of the store, driving desirability and topline performance. You will ensure every client is treated as a VIP, creating the ultimate luxury lifestyle shopping experience. You will be empowered to develop top talent and create the next generation of Ralph Lauren ambassadors.

• Ensure each employee delivers the 5 C’s of Service Excellence to every client.
• Provide a unique experience to every client entering the store.
• Utilize technology and applications to protect and grow the client base.
• Coach and mentor employees to achieve optimal results.
• Build bench strength for future talent and succession planning.
• Provide feedback to buyers and planners to identify opportunities.
• Uphold presentation standards consistent with Ralph Lauren’s image.
• Achieve store shrink goals and maintain asset protection procedures.
• Direct execution of strategies supporting sales, marketing, and profit objectives.
• Manage selling expenses and achieve payroll percent targets.

• Relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, and Outlook.
• Ability to maneuver around the sales floor and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to operate the register and stand for multiple hours.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
• Ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement.
