Summary
The HR Business Partner for the East Coast serves as the primary HR partner for regional stores, partnering with Store Directors and the Regional Retail Vice President to drive people strategies. This role focuses on employee relations, HR administration, talent development, compliance with state and local legislation, and contributing to HR and retail projects to support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for Employee Relations cases across the East Coast
- Partner with Regional Retail Vice President and Store Directors to address team structure learning engagement and development
- Champion HR policies best practices and compliance across store locations
- Serve as local HR expert ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures
- Support talent development initiatives using company guidelines and creative solutions
- Promote diversity and inclusion and identify ways to strengthen inclusion efforts
- Provide training and guidance to retail leaders on performance management and employee relations
- Manage HR administration including onboarding probation follow up leaves immigration support and HR reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR business partner role preferably in luxury
- Strong understanding of the retail industry and prior retail HR experience
- Demonstrated success as a business partner in a fast paced environment
- Proven expertise in employee relations and HR administration
- Experience across other HR areas such as compensation benefits and recruitment is a plus
- SHRM or HRCI certification is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility
- Willingness to travel across the East Coast up to 40 percent
