SummaryThe Manager for Onboarding and Engagement is responsible for designing and executing onboarding initiatives that enhance the employee experience from pre-hire through early tenure. Based in New York, NY, the Manager will report to the Global Director of Learning and Development and will collaborate across various departments to ensure effective onboarding and engagement strategies.
Responsibilities- Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs that communicate culture, benefits, and policies.
- Partner with stakeholders to provide necessary resources and support for new employees.
- Develop orientation sessions, tours, and training workshops for new hires.
- Curate onboarding materials, including handbooks and training guides.
- Champion a globally consistent digital onboarding experience.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure program effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders for successful program implementation.
- Stay updated on industry best practices in employee engagement and onboarding.
- Develop and manage engagement strategies to enhance early-tenure employee satisfaction and retention.
- Lead cross-team building activities to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Provide strategic support for executive recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with HR and management to align practices with business objectives.
Requirements- 6+ years of experience in Human Resources or Marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience in luxury goods, beauty, or retail preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proven ability to gather and analyze data and metrics.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Self-motivated and confident in designing and delivering programs.
- Previous experience supporting HR teams or global talent functions is preferred.
- Event coordination experience is a plus.
- French language skills are a plus.
