Job Description

Summary

The Sales Manager leads a team of sellers to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets within designer womenswear. This role involves recruiting coaching and developing staff while partnering with store leadership to execute merchandising operations and loyalty programming. The manager supports store operations including payroll inventory presentation and health and safety compliance and serves as manager in charge as required.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets for assigned area
  • Meet customer service targets and resolve complex customer issues
  • Recruit select hire and on-board top talent
  • Lead motivate and retain a high performing sales team
  • Coach employees on standards performance and behaviours
  • Oversee designated sales associate programs and vendor partnerships
  • Maintain merchandise presentation and evaluate inventory performance
  • Manage payroll expense while ensuring appropriate coverage
  • Serve as manager in charge and maintain health and safety practices

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience with sales accountability
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and profit targets
  • Retail selling experience in a luxury environment preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
  • Ability to develop client base and implement loyalty programming
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and change leadership
