Manager Store Merchandise

As a Merchandise Manager at Saks Fifth Avenue in Lower Merion Twp, you will oversee both back of the house operational functions and front of the house visual standards. You will ensure the efficient processing and presentation of merchandise, creating a dynamic shopping environment that supports the sale of full-priced merchandise and enhances the overall profitability of the store.

• Hire, train, and develop the Merchandise Operations team for back of house processes.
• Oversee inbound merchandise processing to ensure timely floor placement.
• Ensure compliance with Store Audit Standards and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Manage outbound merchandise transfers and returns to vendors.
• Direct markdowns, price changes, and other operational tasks.
• Lead communication and flow challenges within the store.
• Recruit and fill open roles with urgency, fostering accountability and performance management.
• Set goals and develop your team in alignment with department objectives.

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a retail environment, preferably in visual or merchandising.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting boxes and maneuvering equipment.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
