Summary
The Operations Associate supports daily store operations and order fulfillment by managing POS transactions, cash handling, and service desk responsibilities. The role assists with e-commerce picking, BOPIS operations, inventory control, and on-floor logistics to maintain merchandising standards. The associate also provides occasional sales-floor support and cross-functional assistance to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Process client transactions accurately through the POS and manage cash handling tasks (open/close registers, prepare deposits).
- Collect and update client contact information and maintain client files.
- Support service desk activities, provide basic client resolution, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Pick e-commerce and IST orders, support BOPIS operations and achieve target pick rates.
- Assist with on-floor logistics including markdowns, re-ticketing, re-tagging, and restocking returns.
- Assist visual team with seasonal merchandise changes, displays, and inventory preparations/counts.
- Provide flexible support on the sales floor and participate in daily tasks and ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury or customer-facing environment.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, merchandising, order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Prior service desk or client-facing experience providing exceptional customer service preferred.
- Strong multi-tasking skills, calm under pressure, and excellent communication.
- Demonstrated interest in retail technology and ability to use tech solutions to support operations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support cross-functional initiatives.
