Production and Product Development Manager

Overview

Our company is a leading global luxury fashion house known for iconic apparel and accessories. We are seeking a PD + Production Manager (or Senior Manager based on experience) to oversee the full product lifecycle from concept to delivery. This role is based in New York and reports to the SVP, PD + Production Manager. You will collaborate closely with design, merchandising, and international production partners to ensure products meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a passion for excellence in product development and production.

Responsibilities

• Full product lifecycle management—own the calendar
• Collaborate directly with Chinese production facilities, managing TNA, WIPs, bill of materials, tech packs, production samples, and costing
• Ensure quality control, fit approvals, and testing
• Partner with NYC design and merchandising teams to drive product innovation

Requirements

• 7–10 years of product development and production management experience
• Fluency in Chinese is ideal
• Strong technology skills and proficiency in product lifecycle management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
