Pt Cashier

Summary

As a Cashier you will deliver excellent customer service at the point of sale, ensuring accurate and efficient transaction processing and a welcoming experience for shoppers. You will maintain the cash wrap area, support merchandising standards, and assist with order processing and returns. This role may be offered full-time or part-time and requires flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Process sales transactions (cash, credit, debit, checks) and manage the POS accurately
• Handle returns, promotional offers, coupon redemption, and Ship to Home orders
• Engage in cross-selling and product recommendations and capture customer profiles
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cash wrap and support visual merchandising standards
• Escalate issues to management and support store recruiting and training efforts

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to operate a register, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong communication and cash-handling skills with attention to detail
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as required
