Summary
Provide excellent customer service at the point of sale and support the sales floor in a women's apparel department. Assist customers with purchases, returns and inquiries, maintain a tidy and merchandised sales floor, and support order fulfillment and pickup as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and by phone with sales, returns and other transactions at checkout
- Deliver friendly customer service and listen to customer needs to recommend products
- Keep cash wrap area and sales floor organized, straightened and lightly cleaned
- Restock merchandise and ensure displays are runway ready
- Support order fulfillment and order pick up processes
- Stay informed on fashion trends and product knowledge to assist customer decisions
- Promote company programs such as gift cards and rewards to build customer relationships
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced retail environment
- Strong organization, follow through and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new applications
- Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift and perform frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
