Summary

The Retail Sales associate is passionate about fashion and styling and will cultivate and grow a customer following both digitally and in-store. This role focuses on achieving sales goals through in-store and digital selling tools, building lasting customer relationships, and keeping the accessories department customer-ready.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling, using tools such as text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and provide personalized style and fit guidance
• Process and fill orders, open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts, and assist customers with purchases
• Maintain the department by stocking, re-merchandising, performing price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Work a flexible schedule and occasionally perform duties in other departments as business needs require

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable using networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to work effectively in a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and follow through on responsibilities
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to be active for extended periods, frequently bend and reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
