Summary
The Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and is responsible for cultivating and growing a customer following both digitally and in-store. This role focuses on achieving sales goals through in-store and digital selling, building lasting customer relationships, and maintaining department readiness. The schedule varies by week and may require flexibility to work in different departments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling using texting and social media
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Provide style and fit guidance to customers with honesty and confidence
- Use networking and technology to grow sales and customer base
- Keep the department customer ready by filling orders and restocking merchandise
- Re-merchandise merchandise and perform price markdowns
- Perform light cleaning and general upkeep of the sales floor
- Open new rewards program accounts to grow customer relationships
- Occasionally perform duties in other departments as required
Requirements
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong sales drive
- Ability to use social media and technology for selling
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced retail environment
- Strong organization and follow through skills
- Flexible availability to meet business needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6 to 8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
