The salesperson works collaboratively with the team to maintain a customer-ready department and support store operations.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow a customer following
• Provide honest, confident styling and fit guidance to customers
• Maintain the department by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, performing price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts and support cross-department needs as required

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to use networking and technology to achieve sales goals
• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
