Sales Associate - Gift & Gourmet

Summary

The Sales Associate develops long-lasting customer relationships to drive sales and loyalty in the Gift & Gourmet department at the Toronto store. This commission-based role focuses on delivering exceptional service, building a personal client base, and supporting merchandising and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver extraordinary service to all customers and exceed sales and service goals
• Build and retain a loyal personal client base through acquisition and regular client outreach
• Attend product knowledge and vendor education sessions and promote new merchandise
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and other sales support tasks
• Communicate with clients via phone, mail, and electronic channels and resolve customer service issues
• Comply with Health & Safety, privacy, and cybersecurity policies

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years experience in a commission-based luxury sales environment
• Proven consistent sales performance with demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed quotas
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Experience leveraging social media and multiple technology channels to build a personal brand and drive client acquisition
• Strong product knowledge across merchandise categories and ability to proactively engage clients
