Summary

The Sales Associate cultivates long-term client relationships to drive sales, service, and loyalty within the Gift & Gourmet department. This commission-based role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, achieving sales targets, and supporting store merchandising and outreach activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary service and exceed individual sales and service goals
• Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through acquisition and retention
• Conduct client outreach via phone, mail, and electronic channels for events and product follow-up
• Support visual merchandising, floor recovery, price changes, and in-store presentations
• Attend product knowledge and vendor training sessions
• Resolve customer service issues and escalate to selling management as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years in a commission-based luxury sales environment with consistent quota achievement
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong product knowledge across store categories and awareness of fashion trends
• Ability to use multiple technology channels and social media to engage and grow client base
• Proactive outreach and personalized client service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented retail environment
