The Sales Manager leads a team of sellers to drive the customer experience and achieve sales targets while providing an engaging employee experience. This role oversees recruitment, coaching, performance management, and operational standards across assigned areas of the store.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for assigned areas
- Meet customer service targets and resolve difficult customer issues
- Recruit select hire and onboard top talent
- Lead motivate and retain a high performing team
- Collaborate with other store managers to deliver seamless service
- Communicate performance goals and provide coaching and feedback
- Manage payroll expense and staffing coverage to meet business needs
- Maintain high standards of merchandise presentation and inventory performance
- Serve as manager in charge of the store as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with accountability for driving sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales and profit targets
- Retail selling experience preferably in a luxury environment
- Ability to recruit develop and coach employees
- Strong leadership communication and change management skills
- Experience implementing customer relationship and loyalty programs
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and operational awareness
