Summary
Supervise the sales floor to ensure a consistent memorable customer shopping experience using high standards of service while building client relationships and supporting store leadership and culture. Partner with managers to learn leadership responsibilities and positively influence the store team through coaching and development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise sales floor operations and uphold customer service standards.
- Coach, mentor, and develop sales team to expand clientele and maximize sales.
- Support opening and closing procedures and handle returns and exchanges in manager absence.
- Maintain merchandise presentation and participate in stocking, folding, and floor changeovers.
- Utilize product knowledge and selling tools to meet and exceed personal sales and SPH goals.
- Assist management with daily task maintenance and follow up on tasks and updates.
- Promote new business initiatives and ensure positive reception from sales team.
- Identify and communicate training needs and participate in training programs.
Requirements
- Relevant retail experience preferred with demonstrated sales ability.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Analytical skills with business and financial acumen.
- Proficiency or aptitude with computers and retail systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, and operate register for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform moderate climbing with ladder training.
- Commitment to professional etiquette and representing the brand esthetic.
