Summary
Supervise the sales floor to ensure a memorable customer shopping experience using high standards of service while building client relationships and supporting store leadership initiatives. Partner with managers to learn leadership responsibilities and positively influence the store team.
Responsibilities
- Provide coaching and one-on-one feedback to sales associates and support their development.
- Support and promote new business initiatives and uphold customer service standards.
- Build and develop proactive clientele through social engagement and relationship building.
- Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards including stock maintenance and floor changeovers.
- Utilize product knowledge and selling tools to meet and exceed personal sales and SPH goals.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and handle returns and exchanges in absence of manager.
- Manage task tracker updates and communicate tasks to associates and management.
- Support the management team by mentoring and coaching the sales team to maximize sales.
Requirements
- Relevant retail experience preferred with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to guide and motivate staff using negotiation and team development skills.
- Analytical and business acumen with basic financial awareness.
- Strong computer skills preferred including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, and Outlook.
- Ability to operate register and stand or walk for multiple hours.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and climb a ladder as trained under health and safety guidelines.
