Summary
Supervise the sales floor to ensure a memorable customer shopping experience by upholding service and visual presentation standards, supporting training initiatives, and partnering with managers to develop leadership skills and drive sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the sales floor and uphold customer service excellence.
- Coach, mentor, and manage the sales team to expand clientele and maximize sales.
- Support management with daily tasks, task tracker, and retail web updates.
- Perform opening and closing procedures and handle returns and exchanges when managers are absent.
- Maintain merchandise presentation and participate in daily stock maintenance and floor changeovers.
- Utilize product knowledge and selling tools to meet and exceed personal sales and SPH goals.
- Promote new business initiatives and exemplify professional etiquette and brand esthetic.
- Identify and communicate training needs to management and actively participate in coaching and one-on-ones.
Requirements
- Relevant retail experience preferred with demonstrated sales ability.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to coach and develop staff using negotiation and motivational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Workday preferred.
- Capacity to stand, walk, move, operate register, and maneuver around the sales floor for multiple hours.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and use a ladder as trained under safety guidelines.
- Analytical and financial acumen to support business objectives.
