Job Description

Summary

The Senior Manager, Key Accounts is the primary contact for retailer buying offices, responsible for developing and executing account strategies to drive growth, sales and in-store and online exposure across national accounts. This role partners cross functionally with marketing, digital, visual merchandising and planning and reports to the Head of Sales and Planning. The position focuses on inventory planning, activations, negotiations and performance monitoring to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail clients
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth
  • Coordinate cross functional efforts between sales marketing product and customer support
  • Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities and contribute to new business pitches
  • Resolve client inquiries and proactively identify solutions to meet objectives
  • Conduct regular business reviews and analyze KPIs and sales forecasts
  • Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with key accounts
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform account strategies

Requirements

  • 6 years experience in account management sales or sales planning
  • Proven ability to retain and grow strategic accounts
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with comfort working with data
  • Highly organized self motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing business administration sales or related field often preferred
  • Ability to lead reviews negotiations and collaborate across teams
