Summary
The Store Director leads the boutique to achieve sales targets and operational excellence while embodying the Maison values. This role is responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, client engagement, and ensuring a couture in-store experience to drive loyalty and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Drive and maximize sales performance to meet overall targets and profitability plans.
- Analyze store KPIs and implement action plans to improve results.
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly store strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Recruit, coach, and develop store team while managing staffing and personnel expenses.
- Oversee clienteling, CRM usage, and events to grow client acquisition and retention.
- Manage inventory, cash procedures, store operations, and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with merchandising and buying to ensure product relevance and rotation.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards and store presentation meet HQ guidelines.
- Report sales trends and performance to leadership and partner with corporate stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years of store management experience, preferably in luxury retail.
- Proven track record of achieving sales results and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of product, client journey, and clienteling practices.
- Business acumen with ability to monitor KPIs and propose action plans.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience with inventory management, cash handling, and store operations.
- Demonstrated leadership in conflict management and staff development.
