Summary
The Store Director leads all store activities to achieve business objectives while delivering exceptional client service and maintaining operational integrity. This role includes sales leadership, talent development, loss prevention compliance, visual merchandising oversight, and representing the brand within the local market.
Responsibilities
- Drive and maximize sales performance to meet sales budget and profitability targets
- Analyze monthly store performance and report trends including competitor activity
- Lead by example on the sales floor and ensure high level client engagement and mystery shop performance
- Manage stock levels and collaborate with internal teams to support product launches and full price selling
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop store associates and conduct regular performance reviews
- Develop and implement business action plans with Market Director to grow category and client tier sales
- Execute client development strategies and CRM initiatives to retain and grow top clients
- Oversee store operations including budgets, payroll, invoices, inventory reconciliations, and loss prevention audits
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and organization of company assets
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of sales management experience in retail or luxury retail
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven ability to analyze selling reports and react to business trends
- Strong client relationship building and customer service skills
- Experience managing competing priorities in a fast paced retail environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Passion for the fashion industry and flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
