Summary
The Store Manager is accountable for overall store performance, leading the team, managing merchandise and achieving sales targets while delivering an exceptional client experience. This role includes business ownership, staff development, operational oversight and acting as a brand ambassador for the Maison.
Responsibilities
- Drive and increase sales performance across product categories and develop sales strategies.
- Analyze business results and implement action plans to improve outcomes and client acquisition.
- Collaborate with merchandising and corporate partners to ensure appropriate stock and assortment levels.
- Plan and deliver local events and incentives to grow the business and cultivate VIP relationships.
- Lead customer service quality, mentor staff and develop dedicated customers using CRM tools.
- Manage administrative tasks including schedules, sales and operational reporting and inventory controls.
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure bestsellers are displayed prominently.
- Recruit, coach and develop staff, implement performance management and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety protocols and loss prevention processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years related experience, luxury retail preferred.
- Strong drive for results and goal oriented mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using POS systems and inventory management functions.
- Organizational skills and strong digital literacy.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
- RTW experience and foreign language skills are a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a collaborative team.
