Job Description

Summary

As a Gucci Team Manager, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team of Client Advisors to deliver the highest performance through a customer-centric attitude. You will be responsible for coaching and providing feedback on the selling floor to achieve business and product category goals, while representing the brand as a Gucci Ambassador.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the team on the selling floor, ensuring a consistent client experience.
  • Provide regular feedback and support to Client Advisors to ensure ongoing development and engagement.
  • Manage store opening and closing as Manager on Duty, providing leadership and guidance.
  • Conduct morning briefings and deliver key business communication and objectives.
  • Develop cross-category focus and ensure team sells all categories across all floors.
  • Participate in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding a high-performing team.
  • Lead and inspire the team to execute a superior client experience with a hospitality mindset.
  • Utilize clienteling tools to activate, retain, and grow client base.
  • Monitor client advisor performance and strategize to ensure clienteling excellence.
  • Manage customer flow and resolve service issues to retain client relationships.
  • Monitor performance of assigned categories and propose action plans to reach targets.
  • Collaborate with Store Director and Merchandising team to maximize category potential.
  • Ensure Client Advisors develop full product knowledge through training.
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Loss Prevention to enforce company policies.
  • Provide accurate monthly schedules and maintain visual merchandising standards.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.
  • Proven ability to drive positive client experiences and deliver measurable results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for the fashion industry and ability to inspire a team.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
