The Toy Soldier represents the FAO Schwarz brand by engaging guests and creating a fun, memorable store experience. This role brings theatrical flair to customer interactions, store events, product demonstrations, and social media content.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, build rapport with children and adults, and remain in character while providing an engaging experience.
• Lead the store's daily opening ceremony and serve as a greeter and local information resource.
• Demonstrate products and tailor talking points to different audiences.
• Lead private events or shopping experiences and participate in social media and video content.

Requirements

• An engaging, theatrical personality and the ability to remain positive and in character for extended periods.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
• Performance, acting, music, or dance experience, or familiarity with premium or experience-based retail, is a plus.
• Ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours, handle merchandise, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
