Summary
Lead a ready to wear department at the Soho Greene Street store to drive sales, develop clients, and coach a team of client advisors. Support the Store Manager with talent development, succession planning, and ensuring exceptional client experience while managing day to day operations and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the department team to achieve individual and department sales targets
- Define goals, provide regular feedback and conduct performance reviews
- Recruit and develop talent in collaboration with store leadership
- Role model selling behavior and support team sales to improve KPIs
- Manage customer flow to ensure high level of client service
- Develop the customer database and optimize data capture
- Drive sales for the assigned category and analyze performance to create action plans
- Maintain inventory management and operational standards
- Open and close the store and lead in absence of senior management

- Proven experience leading teams in a similar retail environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
