Director Loss Prevention; Distribution Center

Overview

The Security Guard/Messenger will enforce the company’s Security Policy and Procedures at our Distribution Center in Lyndhurst, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce the company’s Security Policy and Procedures
  • Protect the employees and the physical property of company by foot patrolling around the building and investigating and reporting suspicious activity
  • Monitoring of alarm and camera systems
  • First Responder to Emergencies
  • Secure product, lock down building, and secure assets
  • Assist with building function and recovery efforts by scanning the garbage and wanding employees leaving the warehouse
  • Maintain detailed log of Visitors
  • Safely transport merchandise and on occasion employees, to company offices via shuttle van
  • Ensure appropriate merchandise records are maintained and provide documentation as needed
  • Conduct inventory of the product after company sales
  • Executes messenger deliveries in a timely and safe manner as directed by the Manager of Security

Qualifications

  • Must Possess full carry permit within NYC and NJ
  • Must possess HR218 Certification
  • Must hold valid driving license
  • Must have driving license in good standing, free from any major violations
  • Diligent attention to safety/security
  • Diligent attention to detail
  • Flexibility – must be able to work full-time, including weekends and be available based on business needs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Former Police/Military preferred but not required
